Ich packe meinen Koffer oder so ähnlich geht der ganze Sachen ja. Das zumindest war das Programm heute, bei dem die gesamte Wohnung in Kisten und weitere Sachen eingepackt wurde. Und dann wurde alles noch fleißig in den Transporter verladen und jetzt ist der ganze Spaß auf dem Weg nach Göteborg. Dort wird dann  am Donnerstag wird das ganze dann wieder ausgeladen und dann ausgepackt.

Und das ganze funktioniert funktioniert natürlich nicht, ohne dass etwas Unvorhergesehenes passiert.  Da muss man dann auch immer mal wieder  etwas Flexibilität zeigen. So waren zum Beispiel das Umzugsunternehmen und die Person, die das einpacken sollten der Meinung, dass sie Montag und Dienstag Zeit hätten alles einzupacken und einzuladen. Abgesprochen war das aber alles nur für Montag. Haben dann noch mal ganz schnell ihn gesagt “Nein, muss alles am Montag passieren weil dann sind wir hier weg”.  Nach kurzer Rücksprache mit dem Chef wurde es dann doch noch alles am Montag möglich. Nachdem ich im Vorfeld leider den Fehler begangen habe, nicht nochmal die Dachträger für die Dachbox zu prüfen, ob die auf den Mietwagen passen , habe ich am Sonntag festgestellt, dass die nicht so einfach auf den Mietwagen passen. Also am Montag bei A.T.U. rum telefoniert und versucht das entsprechende Teil zu bekommen. Aber das ging natürlich nicht zumindest nicht mit sinnvollen Zeit- und Nutzen-Faktor. Also kurz um ungeplant und ja ein von uns ist dann mit dem Zug gefahren. Ein anderer Teil hat dann den Mietwagen genommen inklusive Hund und alles entsprechend voll gepackt. Und dann ging’s dann irgendwann doch mal nach dezenten 4 Stunden Verzögerung in Richtung Jena, denn die Möbelpacker haben irgendwie ihre Planung mit einer Hundehütte gemacht, nicht mit einer gesamten Wohnung. Schnell noch mit dem Hund eine letzte Runde in Schwabach gedreht und danach war dann nur noch Autobahn angesagt.

I’m packing my suitcase or something like that. At least that was the program today, when the entire apartment was packed into boxes and other things. And then everything was diligently loaded into the van and now all the fun is on its way to Gothenburg. There it will be unloaded again on Thursday and then unpacked.

And of course the whole thing doesn’t work without something unforeseen happening. You have to show a bit of flexibility from time to time. For example, the removal company and the person who was supposed to pack everything thought that they would have time to pack and load everything on Monday and Tuesday. But it was only agreed for Monday. We then quickly told him “No, everything has to happen on Monday because we’ll be gone by then”. After a brief consultation with the boss, everything was still possible on Monday. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not checking the roof racks for the roof box to see if they would fit on the rental car beforehand, and on Sunday I realized that they wouldn’t fit on the rental car that easily. So on Monday I phoned around at A.T.U. and tried to get the right part. But of course that didn’t work, at least not with a reasonable time and benefit factor. So in short, unplanned and yes, one of us took the train. Another part of us then took the rental car including the dog and packed everything accordingly. And then at some point, after a decent 4-hour delay, we left for Jena, because the movers had somehow made their plans with a dog kennel, not an entire apartment. We quickly took the dog for one last walk around Schwabach and then it was all highway.
